Turn has always had two visual layers to express yourself, the background and the disc image, and we’ve seen some incredible examples of these in action. Well, today we’re adding a third layer: the foreground image. Turn Pro users may now add an additional image on top of the spinning disc to add a new dimension to your Turn videos. The inspiration for this feature came from vinyl record hype stickers and obi strips. It’s a good way to add an additional call out to your music or product offerings. At the moment, this foreground image will gravitate towards the center of the composition where the disc is. So, if you created a 1080px x 1080px sticker layer with a transparent background, it would sit right on top of the disc in square, landscape, and portrait formats. However, this feature is open to interpretation and we can’t wait to see what you do with it.
